Throughout the day, we'll be offering a selection of craft classes taught by our vendors. All classes are free to watch, you only pay for materials if you'd like to make the project yourself. Space is limited and spots are first-come, first served. You must sign up at the Felt Club Info Table when you arrive and pick up your supplies from the appropriate vendor. Here's the class list:

NEEDLE FELTING (@ 12pm in Tent 1)
Instructor: Jamie Chan of MaryJane's Attic
Ever wonder how wool felt is made? Felt is very easy to make given the right circumstances. Wool, which comes from sheep, is a very strong and stretchy fiber. When you get agitate and add pressure, wool shrinks and becomes felt! In this class you will be learn to make felted balls, beads, bracelets and flat objects! You will be given a variety of colorful wools and shown how to make these objects with just your hands and felting needles!

RECYCLED ORNAMENTS 101 (@ 12pm in Tent 2)
Instructor: KB VanHorn of Kokoleo
Learn to make recycled holiday ornaments using easy to find supplies like scrap paper or cards, ribbon or string, and glue! This quick and easy project will have you decking the halls in eco-friendly style.

GIFT BOX/MINI-ALTAR 101 (@ 1pm in Tent 1)
Instructor: Laura Stokes of Charcoal Designs
Make a jewelry or gift box for holiday gift-giving, or a personalized mini-altar for home or travel. Various box sizes will be available for you to customize with an assemblage of plastic charms, ribbons, paint, wrapping paper, glitter glues and more!

BEAD SIMPLE JEWELRY (@ 1pm in Tent 2)
Instructor: Susan Beal of West Coast Crafty
Ever wanted to make your own jewelry? At this Bead Simple workshop you'll learn how to create a pair of simple, stylish earrings—as well as a necklace or pendant—in your own style, using vintage beads and simple wire techniques. You'll leave with plenty of ideas and techniques for creating your own sparkle, and if you'd like you can pick up a handy little kit with everything you need!

CRAFT BUSINESS 101 (@ 2pm in Tents 1+2)
Guest Speaker: Craft, Inc. author Meg Mateo Ilasco

Make a lovely wool felt flower from hand dyed wool felt and embellish with needle felted wool roving and yarn!

CHARM JEWELRY 101 (@ 3pm in Tent 2)
Instructor: Laura Stokes of Charcoal Designs
Learn to use jump rings, metal or plastic chain, lobster clasps and more to make one-of-a-kind, super-colorful jewelry (bracelets, earrings, etc.) using kitschy-cute handmade resin charms.

KNIT & CROCHET 101 (@ 4pm in Tent 2)
Instructor: Julie of The Little Knittery
You've never knit before, or else you need your memory jogged. Learn how to cast on and knit, and be on your way to finishing your first scarf. ALSO: Learn the most basic and essential stitches of crochet. You will then follow a written crochet pattern to make a basic granny square.
